OpenRoaming Terms of Use
Free Internet Service Terms of Use Version 4
To use the free internet service (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) you wish to use, you must agree to the Free Internet Service Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”). The location of BeMap Inc. is stated in Appendix 2.
Article 1 Provision of the Service
(1) The Service provides customers with free internet access via internet lines and wireless LAN facilities installed by the Service Provider.
(2) B-Map Co., Ltd. manages customer information agreed upon under these Terms on behalf of the Service Provider. B-Map Co., Ltd. stores all or part of the information listed in Appendix 1.
(3) This Service is provided during the time periods and within the coverage areas designated by the Service Provider.
(4) If ancillary services are provided with this Service, the Terms of Use for those ancillary services shall apply alongside the Terms of Use for this Service.
Article 2 Use of the Service
(1) Customers using the Service must refrain from the following actions. If the provision of the Service is significantly impaired, BeMap Co., Ltd. may implement communication bandwidth restrictions at the request of the Service Provider.
1. Using the Service for criminal acts or unauthorized access.
2. Using P2P applications that facilitate illegal activities.
3. Using accounts belonging to others without their consent in any service.
4. Downloading data that violates copyright law, contains obscene information, or contravenes Japanese laws and ordinances.
5. Engaging in data communication exceeding approximately 1GB per day, even if legitimate.
6. Performing acts that contravene Japanese law, including the Act on Prohibition of Unauthorized Access to Computer Systems.
7. Using the Service for the purpose of maintaining a constant connection within the scope of its availability.
8. Engaging in acts that may cause discomfort to third parties (including defamation, privacy infringement, threats, slander, revenge porn, harassment, acts to identify personal information of unspecified individuals, etc.).
9. Any other acts prohibited or deemed inappropriate by the service provider and BeMap Inc.
(2) This service is intended for temporary internet use and is not designed for prolonged usage.
(3) This service does not guarantee security. When using services requiring personal identification (login) or sending/receiving personal information, malicious third parties may decrypt the transmitted content. Users are advised to implement appropriate security measures independently.
Article 3 Data Stored by the Service
(1) If a customer engages in any prohibited acts listed in Article 2, Paragraph 1, or if requested by relevant authorities, BeMap Inc. may submit the information listed in Appendix 1 to such authorities at the request of the service provider.
(2) At the request of the service provider, BeMap Inc. may process the information listed in Appendix 1 into a form that does not identify individuals for statistical purposes and operational management.
(3) This Service utilizes cookies. Customers must enable cookies to use this Service.
Article 4 Disclaimer
(1) The Service Provider and BeMap Co., Ltd. make no warranties regarding the following events and shall not be liable for any deficiencies in service provision:
1. When internet connectivity is unavailable due to service restrictions or equipment failure
2. When the device used by the customer cannot connect to this Service
3. When the customer's information is decrypted and misused by malicious third parties
(2) The Service Provider and BeMap Inc. do not stipulate or guarantee recovery in the event of a service disruption.
(3) The Service Provider and BeMap Inc. shall not compensate for any damages incurred by the customer through the use of this Service.
(4) The Service Provider and BeMap Inc. do not guarantee that the customer's device will reliably connect to the Internet.
Article 5 Other
(1) These Terms of Use are written in Japanese. In the event of any discrepancy between the Terms of Use provided in different languages, the Japanese version shall prevail.
(2) When authentication is performed using a social networking service (SNS) via this Service, the terms of service stipulated by the respective SNS provider shall apply while connected to that SNS. Furthermore, if the SNS provider is located outside Japan, either the Terms of Service or the laws of the country where the SNS provider is located shall apply.
(3) The Service Provider and BeMap Inc. may revise these Terms of Use without prior notice if deemed necessary. Revised terms will be presented in the Terms of Use displayed upon connection.
(4) The latest version of these Terms of Use will be displayed when using the Service. You must agree to the latest Terms of Use.
(5) By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Use as well as the following terms:

Terms of Use shall take effect on November 1, 2025 (Version 4).
These Terms of Use shall take effect on December 23, 2024 (Version 3).
These Terms of Use shall be effective from June 1, 2017 (Version 2).
These Terms of Use shall be effective from October 1, 2016 (Version 1).

※If you are unable to use this service, please inform the service provider's representative. BeMap Co., Ltd. does not handle individual inquiries regarding customer malfunctions.
